GOD'S NATURE-INTEGRITY

God's Nature-Integrity
In the pursuit of knowledge to know oneself, it is very important to first know your source. In the book of Genesis, God breathed on you and gave you live, He afterwards gave you a Kingship authority to rule over the earth. You cannot however, rule apart from Him. Ruling apart from Him means to disconnect yourself from your source in disobedience.

Today, in a bid to know who we are, we are looking at one of the natures of God; Integrity. In the book of Numbers 23:19 the bible says, "God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?" Our God keeps to His words, His eternal plan will be fulfilled, though heaven and earth may pass away, but His word will remain forever.

Throughout the history of the world, God never disappoint His people. His promise to Abraham was fulfilled in Isaac and Israel. He brought His chosen people out of the land of bondage to a land flowing with milk and honey. He warned them not to be involved in idolatry and wickedness, when they refused to listen, He sent them into exile. Our God can be depended upon for a long term plan, for His is a faithful God.

If God is in you, you are suppose to demonstrate His integrity in all circumstance, such that people of the world can identify Him in you. When people cannot take your words until they have someone else confirm what you say, then you do not have integrity, which is a nature of God that you must have to call yourself a child of God.

It is therefore instructive to know that part of the reason why you do not know who you are, is because you lack God's integrity. Therefore integrity must be a watch word for all you do going forward, as you enter this journey of self discovery. God will enlighten you in Jesus name. Amen.

DO YOU KNOW YOURSELF?

Do You Know Yourself?

Alot have been said and written concerning knowing oneself. The question we are asking today is whether or not as Christians, we know who we really are.

To know yourself, you really have to know what you are made of, your basic components. In order words, you really have to know your source. A meat-pie for instance can only be as good as the ingredients used to make it. You therefore can only know yourself when you know what is inside of you, and for you to know what is inside of you, you will have to ask your maker. Let me let you know that, our maker did not hide this information from us because He wants us to know who we are.

In Genesis chapter one, God created us in His image and likeness, in chapter two of the same Genesis, He breathed into man and man became a living being. From Genesis account of the bible:

1. You are created in the image and likeness of God; Meaning that you look exactly like Him
2. You are a living being using His breath; Meaning that your life is an extension of His.

Since you look like Him and are using a part of His life, it therefore follows that, for you to know yourself, you first have to know Him-His nature and attributes.

We therefore encourage you to begin your journey of self discovery from the Source and Creator of all things. You cannot know yourself without knowing God.
