GOD'S NATURE-INTEGRITY

God's Nature-Integrity
In the pursuit of knowledge to know oneself, it is very important to first know your source. In the book of Genesis, God breathed on you and gave you live, He afterwards gave you a Kingship authority to rule over the earth. You cannot however, rule apart from Him. Ruling apart from Him means to disconnect yourself from your source in disobedience.

Today, in a bid to know who we are, we are looking at one of the natures of God; Integrity. In the book of Numbers 23:19 the bible says, "God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?" Our God keeps to His words, His eternal plan will be fulfilled, though heaven and earth may pass away, but His word will remain forever.

Throughout the history of the world, God never disappoint His people. His promise to Abraham was fulfilled in Isaac and Israel. He brought His chosen people out of the land of bondage to a land flowing with milk and honey. He warned them not to be involved in idolatry and wickedness, when they refused to listen, He sent them into exile. Our God can be depended upon for a long term plan, for His is a faithful God.

If God is in you, you are suppose to demonstrate His integrity in all circumstance, such that people of the world can identify Him in you. When people cannot take your words until they have someone else confirm what you say, then you do not have integrity, which is a nature of God that you must have to call yourself a child of God.

It is therefore instructive to know that part of the reason why you do not know who you are, is because you lack God's integrity. Therefore integrity must be a watch word for all you do going forward, as you enter this journey of self discovery. God will enlighten you in Jesus name. Amen.

DO YOU KNOW YOURSELF?

Do You Know Yourself?

Alot have been said and written concerning knowing oneself. The question we are asking today is whether or not as Christians, we know who we really are.

To know yourself, you really have to know what you are made of, your basic components. In order words, you really have to know your source. A meat-pie for instance can only be as good as the ingredients used to make it. You therefore can only know yourself when you know what is inside of you, and for you to know what is inside of you, you will have to ask your maker. Let me let you know that, our maker did not hide this information from us because He wants us to know who we are.

In Genesis chapter one, God created us in His image and likeness, in chapter two of the same Genesis, He breathed into man and man became a living being. From Genesis account of the bible:

1. You are created in the image and likeness of God; Meaning that you look exactly like Him
2. You are a living being using His breath; Meaning that your life is an extension of His.

Since you look like Him and are using a part of His life, it therefore follows that, for you to know yourself, you first have to know Him-His nature and attributes.

We therefore encourage you to begin your journey of self discovery from the Source and Creator of all things. You cannot know yourself without knowing God.

KINGDOM CITIZEN'S JOURNEY-THE JOSEPH EXPERIENCE

Kingdom Citizen's Journey-The Joseph Experience

Joseph was the favorite of his father but hated by his brothers because of his dreams. A very popular story in the old testament of the bible. It is very clear from the story that God intended for Joseph to save his immediate family and the known world at the time from an impending famine.

Therefore Joseph, a very important MAN who is to save the world from Famine had to become a slave primarily because he had to learn the ways of Egypt, without which he will not be able to serve in the capacity that was destined for him.

You may be going through similar circumstance today, and would feel that God is silent. Some would think that there is no God, because God will not allow certain things to happen to His children if He exist. But I tell you today, you must learn to keep faith with God as Joseph did. You should never compromise because you feel God is silent. He is silently lifting you to your ordained position as He did Joseph.

If you need to go to prison to become a president, then God will send you there. It may be that you feel enslaved by your current employer, well, if you are a Kingdom citizen, it definitely means that God wants you there at this particular point in time. He says in "Jeremiah 29:11 That I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

Joseph never question God, despite all his travails, he remained committed to the Words of God and God brought him to his expected end. Trust this God of Joseph to bring you to your life expectation. When you trust God, He gives you peace in all circumstances and ultimately will ensure victory for you. Just like Joseph, you need to keep faith with the promises of God concerning your life despite what you may be going through. You will end gloriously, that the name of your heavenly father may be glorified in Jesus name. Amen

ARE YOU A CHRISTIAN?

Are You A Christian?

This days, a lot of people call themselves christian simply because they go to church on Sundays. The question we are asking ourselves today is, who really is a christian and how can we identify one?

"And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch. Acts 11:26"

To be a christian really means to be sent to deliver the good news of the Kingdom to all. The disciples were called Christians because they behaved like Christ. What are the things Christ did when He walked the earth? He preached and teach the Gospel of the Kingdom, He healed the sick and deliver the demon possessed, He feed the poor and granted us salvation etc.

The disciples in Antioch that were first called Christians, were engaged in similar activities, which reminded the people of what they probably have heard or seen about Christ and therefore referred to them as Christ likes.

When in the Kingdom, you are in the father and the father is in you through Christ Jesus, therefore, sin is far away from you, you are invisible because you are born of the Holy Spirit, you have dominion and powers and can exercise authority over principalities and powers. Those that curse you are cursed and those that blesses you are blessed. God confirms your words just as He did that of Elijah, Moses, Peter, Paul etc. You are an angel sent to deliver good news and help the needy. You teach about the good news and bring men and women into the Kingdom daily.

Reflect on the above, does it reflect the kind of life you are living right now. Jesus said if you see Him, you have seen the Father. Since we are in Him and He in us as Christians, can the world identify HIM (Christ) in our lives? You cannot call yourself a Christian while you indulge in sinful acts. A Christian must imbibe the following:

1. Love God above all.
2. Love his neighbor as himself.
3. Be willing to give to those that may not be able to repay.
4. Tell others about the Kingdom.
5.  Obey God commandments.

It may seem difficult, but you have been sanctified to carryout this responsibilities and live a godly life (John 17:19), you only need to trust Him to lead you on the right path.

BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS?

Blood On Your Hand?

Every pastor, priest or prophet that makes money the focal points of their teachings have a blood on his or her hands. When you talk excessively on money and wealth, to the detriment of the kingdom, you are a murderer. When you teach for pay and give judgement for a bribe, you are inviting God's judgement on the people you lead.

It is explicit what the bible says: "...Her heads judge for a bribe, her priest teach for pay, and her prophets divine for money. Yet they lean on the Lord, and say is not the Lord among us? No harm can come upon us".

Why deceive the very people you are called to lead into the Kingdom? Why not the Kingdom first? Why not salvation and righteousness? Why the craze to be named among the richest people in the world while your followers’ lives below the poverty line? The early Christians live their lives for others, sharing all that they had with the brethren. "The multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul: neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they all had things in common...Nor was there anyone among them who lacked."

Today, the churches built using the generous giving and donations of members and non members have been converted to personal use by pastors, prophets and priest, denying the true owners of the church access to their contributions. Churches now own universities that their members cannot afford to send their children because of the exorbitant fees. It is now common place for a pastor to own private jet while members of his church cannot feed themselves.

What is in vogue now is 'operations show your tithe card'. A lot of churches today will have nothing to do with you if your tithe card doesn't show that you have paid your tithe up-to date. While they go about telling people not to criticize the so called anointed men of God, they themselves will not leave their members to God's judgement but would deny them services that are supposed to be free of charge.

Now because of pastors, priests and prophets' wickedness, this is God's judgement: "Therefore because of you Zion shall be plowed like a field, Jerusalem shall become heaps of ruins...Micah 2:12" For daring to lean on God after collecting money for services that you were sent to provide for free, making God's children believe in lies, and helping them to pursue things that leads to dead, the blood of those that have died without Christ are in your hands, and God will require it of you.

It is time to live our lives in accordance with God's commandments.

THE NEW COMMANDMENT

The New Commandment

"John 12:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, as I have loved you"

I whole bunch of the Christian community are going contrary to Jesus commandment. 'By their fruits we shall know them' says the bible; it is therefore simple to know in our generation who are children of the devil and those who are children of God. Children of God lives righteously and loves their neighbours while children of the devil are involved in disobedience and hate for their neighbours see 1John 3:10-23.

For you to love your neighbour in totality, you must first avoid "the lust of the fresh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life." all of which are of the world. Remember that you are not of the world but a kingdom citizen; an ambassador on planet earth. You therefore to live your life in the service of your neighbour wherever you find yourself as commanded by Jesus.

To love your neighbour means to:

1. Help him who is in need.
2. Tell him about the kingdom and eternal life in Christ Jesus.
3. Do nothing to harm him
4. Say nothing that could harm him
5. Do not envy him

There are three things that abides, "but the greatest of these is love-1 Corinthians 13:13", "for the law is fulfilled in one word: You shall love your neighbour as yourself-Galatians 5:14". Why then do we still hate and kill? Some even kill in the name of God. You cannot claim to love your neighbour and at the same time kill him that you are sent to save.

"Whoever hates his brother is a murderer-1John 3:15" Those that have continued to seek payback and hates their brothers are actually considered murderers. You are therefore admonished to change your ways, obey Jesus commandment to love your neighbours.

You cannot claim to love God when you don't love your neighbour. In fact, the bible calls him a liar that claims to love God and hates his brother. Jesus said "if you love me, you will keep my commandment" Do you love Jesus? Obey His commandment today, show love to your neighbour.

IS JESUS ENOUGH?

Is Jesus Enough?

'John 15: 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends' Despite Jesus' sacrifice on the cross for our redemption, a lot of Christian still go about searching for answers in things or fellow human, instead of abiding in Christ. Traditions and lusts have been promoted in some instances above Christ to the detriment of God's children kingdom life, promised by Jesus.

The lust for personal wealth instead of collective wealth has taken over the church, so much that pastors no longer think about the poor in the society or even in their congregation, but rather about themselves. Riding in posh vehicles and private jets is now the order of the day. According to these flamboyant pastors, a pastor that is poor is not called by God.

While, we certainly believe that God's children (the righteous) will never 'beg for bread', it is absolutely wrong for a pastor to buy, (for his personal use) a jet while the sheep that he is called to shepherd goes hungry, sometimes for days without food.

Politician goes to church in the day time and visit demonic shrines at night. They love the front sits, to show off their ill gotten wealth, but will simply tell you that true Christianity is for the poor. Some are still sacrificing to idols for things that are theirs by right.

'We are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all' and therefore need not sacrifice our eternity in the Kingdom for money, houses, cars, jets etc. Your focus always should be Jesus as the vine and you as the branch. Abide in Him that you may yield much fruits for the Kingdom and not just yourself. Do not add satanic worship, unacceptable sexual practices etc in order to acquire wealth. Jesus is the Lord, focus on Him and will soon discover that He is Enough.

WHO OR WHAT IS YOUR FIRST LOVE?

Who Or What Is Your First Love?
In this month of love, who is it that you would profess your love to? Who is your first love? The sin of the church of Ephesus was that they left their first love. Revelation 2:4. Have you left your first love?

The first and most important commandment is: “You shall love the lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength” Jesus termed this commandment the most important of all. It therefore means that our first love is God.

A lot of our brothers have gone astray chasing after material possessions, positions in the society and money. These things they now love so much to the neglect of their first love, and still hope in vain that God will be with them, that He will answer their prayers. God ask Ezekiel: “Son of Man, these men have set up their idols in their hearts, and put before them that which causes them to stumble into iniquity. Should I let Myself be inquired of at all by them?” God went ahead to say that those that do that will be made a sign and a proverb in order to ensure others don’t go astray.

Why chase after these worldly possessions when it is yours by right? In Ephesians 1:3 the bible tells us that we have already been blessed in the heavenly realm. This means that, as a kingdom citizen, you are already blessed and a blessing. Whatever you do will blossom; you need not make them your idol and love them more than your God.

Seek first the Kingdom by loving and doing His will and you shall have all you ever wanted, by simply asking Him for it. Romans 8:28 tells us that “And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God…” So, why love all these things, when loving only God would open the door to all other things for your pleasure?

If you love wife/husband, money, house and any other material possession more than God, you are not worthy of the Kingdom, and the Kingdom will reject you in the last day.  Go back to your first love and you shall begin to experience divine fruitfulness in every area of your life.

Jesus said “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you, abide in my love.” Chose to love God and abide in His love and all things shall work for your lifting in Jesus name. Amen.

IS DIVORCE A SIN?

Is Divorce A Sin?
Much of the world no longer takes God’s words seriously. Most people claim to be Christians but inwardly are serving other gods of their own desire. As Jesus said; they serve God with their lips but their hearts is far away from him. They deliberately disobey Him and then come out to say He is a merciful God, full of compassion and ever willing to forgive. They assume they could therefore deliberately continue in their sin and still make heaven, because God always forgives. As Apostle Paul said; God forbid that we should we continue in sin that grace abounds.

One of the ways Christians are disobeying God is through divorce. Jesus instructions on divorce are very clear, yet Christians blatantly flout it and then go to church the next day to sing hallelujah to the King. Who are you deceiving?

In Matthew 5:32-33 Jesus said “It hath been said, whoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement, but I say unto you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committed adultery.
It’s now common to hear some people say ‘I no longer love my wife’. Each time I hear this statement, I marvel, in that the bible recorded that while we are yet in sin, Jesus came and died, so we might be redeemed to God the father. But for whatever selfish reason, some people will choose to divorce their wife. To love the wife unconditionally as Christ loves us, goes out the window. The bible says; ..’In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.

Since God did not sanction divorce, why are Christians involved in it in direct violation of Jesus’ commands? The bible says the soul that sin shall die. Divorce is a sin and those involved may spend their eternity in hell. I therefore urge those considering divorce to go to God in prayers for a solution to whatever marital challenges they may be going through.
In order to prevent and eliminate the chances of divorce, those looking for their life partner should ask themselves these questions before going to the altar:

  • If I were to discover a dark secret about the person I am about to get married to, what will be my reaction?
  • What if the person turns out to be a pathological liar, a thief, a womanizer etc?
  • What if the person has an accident and is amputated as a result?
  • Will I be willing to love him or her unconditionally until death?

While it may be easy to live with and love someone that is amputated as result of accident, it may not be very easy to live with a thief. I would therefore urge the following for every Christian:
  1. Pray and personally have God’s leading before going to the altar.
  2. Find out all you could about your partner before proposing or accepting a marriage proposal.
  3. Do not think you could change your partner’s bad habit after marriage if God did not expressly say so.

The bible told us that he, who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord. Since God intends marriage to be a blessing, Christians must work in love as we journey together in our marriage, obtaining God’s favour and grace in all that pertains to our home and marriage.

My prayer for all married couple out there is that you shall enjoy your marriage and obtain the favours promised by the King of kings and Lord of lords.
