'Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding'
Wisdom is the principal rule when it comes to living the Christian life in the kingdom. Getting the wisdom is therefore having an in-dept understanding of the Kingdom obligations. We therefore continue here with the obligations that must become our watchwords and daily living guides:
6. Honour thy father and thy mother. Acting and behaving disrespectfully to your parents will never take you anywhere; rather, it will permanently shut the gates of
the Kingdom against you.
7. Thou shall not kill. Killing
in the biblical era is not only when you kill with a sword or gun, once the thought to
kill is sustained in your heart, you have already commit murder. For as a man
think, so is he. So, if you think to murder, you are a murderer and the
Kingdom of God is far from you.
8. Thou shall not commit adultery. Most
married men that I know are guilty of this, but God’s mercy is able
and have washed you clean of sexual sin so long as you genuinely repent of
it and nail it to the cross, in exchange for righteousness in Christ Jesus who is
the only way to the Kingdom.
9. Thou shall not steal. Stealing
have become a normal way of life in Nigeria, to an extend that, if you work in
an organisation/government that many are stealing and you chose to abide in the Kingdom
and wait patiently for the promise of God, they will think that 'your star is
not bright'. That is to say; because you refused to steal, you will never be rich.
The annoying thing about this challenge is, our religious leaders and elders
who are suppose to teach the people the Christ way of life, which is the
Kingdom of God first, are busy teaching the Kingdom benefits and in so doing,
turned so many God’s children to armed robbers, thieves and perpetual liars.
They don’t enter the Kingdom, and they will not allow those trying to enter to
do so. They blind them to the truth and make them a lazy bunch waiting for an
opportunity to steal and call it divine miracle.
You teachers of the Christian
faith should be careful not to incur the Kingdom curse; “woe unto you, scribes and pharisees, hypocrites! For ye shut up the
Kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselfs, neither suffer
ye them that are entering to go in”.
Jesus did no curse the Sadducees because they
were already lost and needed help. If you are reading this and your pastor or
reverend is persistently preaching the Kingdom benefit (prosperity without hard-work) and not the Kingdom of God (Righteous living, salvation etc), please draw his or
her attention to it immediately. And if he or she is not willing to listen,
then he or she is cursed already, and you may extricate yourself from that church before its too late.
10. Thou shall not bear false witness against
thy neighbour. In order words, love him, for if you love him,
you will say or do anything against him/her that would be detrimental to their wellbeing. Thou shall not covet thy neighbor’s house,
wife, his manservant or maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing
that is thy neighbor’s. Why? Because, in the Kingdom, there are
more there, uncountable actually, so, you can ask for as many as you want for
yourself and it shall be provided so long as you are a citizen of the Kingdom
of God and can be trusted to utilize them fully for the Kingdom. (Please note that you can only ask for one wife or one husband in accordance with Jesus instructions on Marriage)
Pray for God's intervention in your life today. Open-up your self to Him and He will surely lead you into the Kingdom where you can live life in abundance.
Remain Blessed!
